How to install SMS Tick Professional | back to top

  1. Download the installer here.
  2. Download and Install Microsoft Dotnet framework 2.0 (Note: If not installed already).
  3. Download and Install SMS TICK PROFESSIONAL application
  4. After successful installation, run the application by clicking SMS TICK PROFESSIONAL icon from Desktop.

 

How to Activate SMS Tick Professional | back to top

  1. When you run SMS Tick Professional application for the first time system will ask your username, password and activation code to verify your account. If you already registered into SMS TICK PROFESSIONAL then enter all the information and press “Verify” button.
  2. If you are new user then press REGISTER button and provide all the required information.
  3. Your account will be activated within 24 hours and you will receive your username, password and activation code via SMS and Email.

When you open SMS TICK PROFESSIONAL for the first time, this form will be displayed to verify your account. If your account verified successfully you can use all the features of SMS TICK PROFESSIONAL.

New User Registration:

  1. Enter all the required information to register into SMS Tick.
  2. Enter your cooperate identity as your sender ID. It should be alphanumeric and less than 11 characters.
  3. Provide the Mobile Number in telecom format i.e. 971505544996 and valid email Address.
  4. Your activation code will be sent to you by SMS on the mobile number you provided and by Email within 24 hours.

Single SMS:
For sending Single SMS, Select Single Check Box then select country code and enter mobile number in the telecom format i.e. For sending message to UAE Etisalat number select UAE code 971 and enter Etisalat number as 50xxxxxxx (do not enter leading zero of operator code).

 

Group SMS:
For sending messages to contact list which you created in the phonebook, select Group Check box and select desired group. You can either select all group contacts by selecting main node or select contacts one by one from the list.

 

BULK:
If your contact list is saved in Microsoft Excel file then select Bulk Check box and select the Microsoft Excel file. When you will press SEND button, new window will open which will ask for column number of contacts numbers and Sheet name, provide correct information and press OK.

 

Note: Mobile numbers in the contact list should be in the telecom format i.e. 97150xxxxxxx

 

Select Text Style:

- English Only: you can send 160 Characters per message.
- Arabic only /English and Arabic: you can send 70 Characters per message.

 

Message:
In this area enter the message you want or select template from the templates list. You will see counter of number of characters you entered in the bottom of message area.

 

Note: Please note that if TEXT is greater than 160 characters for English Message or 70 Characters for Arabic Message then the message will automatically be concatenated into multiple segments of 160 or 70 characters to become one large message to be delivered on the customers handset. Number of credits used in this instance equates to number of concatenated segments.

 

Schedule SMS:
You can send delayed message by Selecting Date and Time from the Schedule Box and press “Save” button. You message will be delivered on the date and time you provided you can check status of scheduled message by clicking on Scheduler menu.

 

Signature:
Create your signature once; it will be saved in the system so that next times when you need to add signature just selects the Signature Check box.

To create contact list Click on <Phone Book>.

  1. Create Group by clicking on <Add> button.
  2. Select Group and click Contacts <Add> button to add contact number in the selected group.
  3. You can Edit or Delete Contact by selecting contact and Clicking on <Edit> or <Delete> button.

You can create unlimited templates for sending pre defined messages to your contacts.

To Add New Template Click <Add> button. New window will open; write Template Name and Template Message and Press <OK> button.

IF you click on scheduler menu you will see list of all the messages you have scheduled to send on your desired date and time.

You can check the status of message if status is pending it means system is waiting for the time and date you selected for message and if status is SENT this means your message is successfully delivered.

By Clicking REPORT from the menu you can see messages history. You can also select month from the month list, you will see list of all messages sent on that month.

You can view your current balance by selecting Credits Menu. It will display total purchased credits, Total Used Credits and Total Balance. This will also display rate list for each country and their operators.

  1. Click <Options>.
  2. Select <Change password> option.
  3. Click <Change> button.
  4. Enter old and new password and click button <OK>
  5. The application will then prompt for successful password update.

  1. Select [Options -> Database -> Backup] for making backup of your data.
  2. A window will prompt for the location of your backup folder.
  3. Select location and press <OK>

  1. Select [Options -> Database -> Restore] for restoring backup of your data.
  2. A window will prompt for the location of your backup file.
  3. Select the backup file and click <OK> to restore data.

  1. Select [Options ->Phonebook -> Export] for exporting your phonebook.
  2. A window will prompt for the location of your phonebook export folder.
  3. Select location and press <OK>.

  1. Select [Options -> Phonebook -> Import] for importing any phonebook.
  2. A window will prompt for the location of your phonebook XML file.
  3. Select your file and click <OK> to import phonebook.
